A Deadly Act by Jonathan Dunsky, is a tale of love and loss that straddles the line between fiction and reality. The protagonists are a pair of former military heroes, both of whom are trying to make the most of their newfound free time. What they lack in common ground, they make up for with a plethora of eccentricities, missteps, and misadventures. A dead body and a tumultuous relationship are just the start. The unanticipated mayhem spawns an unlikely alliance and an epic fail. The ensuing calamity is not to be trifled with. It is only a matter of time before the twosome must face their respective demons. With luck, they might even be able to take out their nemesis. A requisite test of loyalty is put to the test when they encounter an unseen enemy of the opposite sex. But, thankfully, they’re not the only ones who aren’t as lucky. The next time you have a night on the town, keep the good times and bad times out of each other’s hair with the help of a smokin’ hot private eye. oh, and a smokin’ hot dog. oh, and a hunk. Just make sure it’s not your own b-ball teammate. It’s not the first time one of these rogues has gotten a visit.
The book ain’t cheap, and you’re going to have to be quick if you want to snag a copy. But, the story is so compelling, you’ll have a hard time putting it down.
